Our legendary, award-winning Hobgoblin beer range has gone and done it again, winning four top titles at this year’s World Beer Awards!
The World Beer Awards recognise and promote the world’s best beers across the globe. Around 2,000 beers from more than 50 countries entered this year’s awards.
In the ‘Golden Ales’ category, 61 Deep was awarded ‘Country Winner’ and Wainwright picked up a silver medal. Pedigree is a bronze medal winner in the ‘Pale Beer’ category and Wainwright Gluten Free was awarded a silver in the ‘Gluten Free’ category.
A panel of industry experts blind tasted and scored the entries across three rounds of judging before awarding highly commended medals and an overall country winner in each category.
As the ‘Country Winner’ in the ‘Golden Ales’ category, 61 Deep will go on to compete for the ‘World’s Best’ title. We’ll find out if it takes the top spot in September.
It’s always a proud moment when our beers are recognised for their taste and quality!
